The IntelliGo solution consists of two products: TrafficTower for central management, real-time monitoring, alarms and analytics, and IntelliFlow for optimisation of traffic flow in the intersections.

Optimise green waves

You can monitor multiple intersections and orchestrate an optimal flow through them with green waves, optimising traffic flow and reducing stop-and-go, thus lowering energy consumption. The IntelliGo system has proven its worth, enhancing traffic flow and lowering energy consumption at each intersection as well as improving overall road management. Each intersection can be optimised according to its specific layout and traffic patterns, and managed from a central office.

There's no need for manual observation of intersections to spot traffic issues; both real-time and statistical data are available in the solution. Changing priorities at intersections becomes easy, fast, and virtually cost-free, and the data provides valuable insights for road infrastructure planning and investments.

AI-driven signal optimisation

Traditional signal control extends green time based only on oncoming vehicles from the direction that already has green; vehicles waiting at red have no influence. IntelliGo's signal optimisation is based on reinforcement learning, and operates very differently.

As input, it uses real-time radar data identifying all vehicles approaching the intersection from all directions. Every second, the algorithm calculates whether green should be kept in a specific direction or changed, with the fundamental principle of minimising waiting time for all vehicles in all directions.

The algorithm also factors in vehicle size, differentiating between cars and trucks due to their varying energy consumption: a truck requires more energy and generates greater CO₂ emissions when it must frequently stop and accelerate.

IntelliGo TrafficTower

Instant, full control of your traffic infrastructure. Two-way, real-time data communication makes it easy and cost-effective to manage and optimise traffic flow: no manual data collection, no costly external reports. The system logs signal data and detector input every second, creating a precise traffic picture that enables traffic counting, stop measurements and delay statistics across all lanes.

TrafficTower is equipped with a range of intelligent alarms that let you respond swiftly to any scenario: traffic incidents, emergencies, or unexpected events.

IntelliFlow

IntelliFlow is the central component of the IntelliGo system, dynamically adjusting traffic signals in real time to match current conditions. The built-in machine learning intelligence lets each intersection develop its own optimised traffic flow, with normal traffic rules applied, including the safeguard that two colliding directions never both have green.

Rules relevant to an individual intersection can easily be applied to override the basic intelligence, for example special priorities during rush hours. Setting up rules requires no programming skills and no external programming resources.

Manage entire zones

In connection with a concert or a football match, you may need to make the streets around the stadium safe for crowds. With IntelliGo, you can switch the traffic lights of an entire zone to flash mode in one single operation.
