Intelligent access control from ATKI keeps track of vehicles in parking areas and prevents customer frustration.

ATKI provides solutions for traffic regulation. One of their solutions is an access control system that discreetly and seamlessly monitors the availability of parking spaces.

The system consists of a camera solution equipped with state-of-the-art deep learning AI software that counts vehicles entering and exiting the area. Each vehicle is identified as a car, and its direction is registered, whether it's entering or leaving the premises. Other moving objects such as motorcycles or people are automatically excluded.

This enables precise car counting on the lot without disturbing the customers. At the entrance to the parking lot, the number of available spaces can be displayed, or drivers can even be guided to available spots to optimise usage of the area.

ATKI systems are used in both private and public parking areas across Denmark.
